GRACE has been producing monthly time series of Earth gravity models up to a degree and order of 120. Its major scientific objective is to obtain detailed information on global water storage changes via the recovery of gravity changes. Filtering or smoothing of GRACE data is necessary to reduce the contribution of noisy short wavelength components of the geopotential models and, as a consequence, to obtain reliable estimates of time-varying gravity signals. Errors of GRACE data increase rapidly with the spherical harmonic degree and manifest themselves in maps of surface mass variability as long, linear features, generally oriented in north to south stripes. The averaging operators or filters implemented on the GRACE data can be divided into two main categories: deterministic or stochastic. Deterministic filters are based on properly choosing an optimal averaging radius which leads to an optimal tradeoff between noise reduction and spatial resolution. In contrast, stochastic operators, or the so-called optimal filters, rely on the principal that external knowledge of the problem (such as desired signal structure and solution error estimates) can be used to set up the filter. This study uses Gaussian averaging and Wiener optimal filters as examples of deterministic and stochastic operators, respectively. The Gaussian filter weighting coefficients can be computed by Jekeli’s recursion formula. Wiener optimal filtering is designed based on the minimum sum of squares of differences between the desired and corresponding filtered signals. It uses the power spectra information of the desired gravitational signal and the observation noise which is inferred from the averaged GRACE degree power spectrum. It was found that the power of signal decreases with increasing harmonic degree  with approximately , where  for   and  for  are estimated by a least squares adjustment of GRACE data. The degree power of the noise increases in the logarithmic scale, linearly with the increasing .We show that the Wiener optimal filter is a low-pass filter; that is, in general, it functions similarly to a Gaussian filter. Moreover, these two filter coefficients have been applied to 55 monthly GRACE gravity models for the estimation of the monthly anomalies of total water storage over Iran. The results were compared with the output of the Global Land Data Assimilation System (GLDAS) hydrological model (snow cover plus soil moisture variations) and groundwater variations from borehole pizometer data for the estimation of monthly total water storage variations over Iran. It is shown that Wiener optimal filtering outcomes are nearly identical to those of Gaussian averaging. However, designing the optimal Wiener filter based on the observation is the main advantage of the Wiener filter over the Gaussian one.  }, keywords = {Gravitational field,Grace,Filtering,total water storage variations}, title_fa = {مقایسه فیلترهای گاوسی و وینر در حذف خطاهای داده‌های GRACE}, abstract_fa = {ماموریت ماهواره‌های دوقلوی جاذبی GRACE (Gravity Recover and Climate Experiment) از سال 2002، تغییرات زمانی میدان جاذبه زمین را در مقیاس جهانی زیر نظر گرفته است. GRACE سری زمانی مدل‌های جاذبی زمین را تا درجه و مرتبه 120 تولید کرده است و از طریق بازیابی تغییرات میدان جاذبه زمین به هدف عمده علمی خود یعنی اطلاعات جزیی در مورد تغییرات کلی ذخیره آب‌ها در مقیاس جهانی دست می‌یابد. فیلتر کردن یا نرم کردن داده‌های GRACE کاری ضروری در جهت کاهش سهم مولفه‌های طول موج کوتاه میدان جاذبه زمین و در نتیجه دستیابی به سیگنال‌های قابل اعتماد جاذبی متغیر در زمان است. خطای داده‌های GRACE به سرعت با افزایش درجه هماهنگ‌های کروی افزایش یافته است و به شکل نوارهایی خطی که از شمال به جنوب کشیده شده‌اند، در نقشه‌های تغییرات جرم نشان داده می‌شوند. عملگرهای میانگین‌گیری به دو دسته عمده قطعی و اتفاقی تقسیم‌ می‌شوند. فیلترهای موجود در دسته اول، به شعاع میانگین‌گیری وابسته‌اند و نیازی به اطلاعاتی در مورد ساختار سیگنال و نوفه موجود در داده ندارند. در مقابل، عملگرهای اتفاقی که به آنها فیلترهای بهینه نیز می‌گویند،از مجموعه اطلاعات اضافی (مانند ساختار سیگنال مطلوب، برآوردی از نوفه موجود در داده و مانند آن) استفاده می‌کنند تا اینکه بهترین تصمیم در مورد تفکیک سیگنال و نوفه صورت گیرد. در این مقاله عملگر میانگین‌گیری گاوسی از نوع فیلترهای قطعی و فیلتر بهینه وینر (Wiener) از نوع فیلترهای اتفاقی استفاده شده است. ضرایب وزن فیلتر گاوسی با استفاده از رابطه بازگشتی جکلی محاسبه می‌شود. فیلتر وینر بر مبنای اِعمال شرط کمینه مجموع مربعات اختلاف‌های میان سیگنال‌های ورودی انتخابی و سیگنال‌های خروجی فیلتر شده متناظر طراحی شده است. ایجاد شرط کمینه مجموع مربعات نیاز به اطلاعاتی در مورد توان طیفی سیگنال‌های هماهنگ جاذبی انتخابی و نوفه موجود در آنها دارد که از متوسط درجه توان طیفی داده‌های GRACE قابل استخراج هستند. دیده می‌شود که توان طیفی سیگنال‌های جاذبی تقریبا مطابق تابع‌ با افزایش درجه هماهنگ‌ کروی‌ کاهش می‌یابند که در آن مقادیر 4/0 و 3/1‌ برای 21‌ و مقادیر‌ 5/0‌ و 5/1‌ برای 14، با استفاده از سرشکنی کمترین مربعات از روی داده‌های GRACE برآورد شده‌اند.‌ را قانون دوم کائولا می‌‌نامند که به‌طور تجربی از بررسی تغییرات ضرایب هماهنگ کروی در طول زمان‌های مختلف به دست آمده است. توان طیفی نوفهها در مقیاس لگاریتمی با افزایش درجه  به صورت خطی افزایش می‌یابد. نشان داده شده که فیلتر بهینه وینر، فیلتر پایین‌گذری است که به‌طورکلی به فیلتر گاوسی شبیه است. به‌ویژه اختلاف میان کرنل‌ (هسته) های فیلتر وینر با مدل کردن سیگنال با 3/1‌ و 5/1‌ و گاوسی به شعاع 4 درجه کوچک است. همچنین، ضرایب وزن مربوط به این دو فیلتر روی 55 ماه از داده‌های ماهیانه جاذبی GRACE اعمال شده و تغییرات کلی ذخیره آب درمنطقه ایران بر‌آورد شده است. نتایج حاصل با تغییرات کلی ذخیره آب به دست آمده از مدل هیدرولوژیکی GLDAS‌ (Global Land Data Assimilation System) یعنی تغییرات پوشش برف به علاوه رطوبت خاک به همراه تغییرات سطح آب‌های زیرزمینی حاصل از داده‌های چاه‌های پیزومتری در سطح ایران،‌ مقایسه شده است. روشن شده است که فیلتر بهینه وینر در مقایسه با فیلتر گاوسی، نتایج را بهبود نداده است. البته همان‌طور که قبلا نیز اشاره شد، یکی از مزایای روش وینر نیاز نداشتن به تعریف شعاع میانگین‌گیری و تعیین تابع گذر فیلتر براساس اطلاعات حاصل از اندازه‌گیری است.  }, keywords_fa = {میدان جاذبه,Grace,فیلترگیری,تغییرات کلی ذخیره آب}, url = {https://www.ijgeophysics.ir/article_40734.html}, eprint = {https://www.ijgeophysics.ir/article_40734_a3256f039d64db43985483a0087d6bc4.pdf} }
